Product introduction: EPHYON 1.2 kg fabric softener—read the care label before following the washer instructions

EPHYON’s current product system records a 1.2 kg fabric softener in fabric care, with a liquid dosage form and a dedicated product path and image. “1.2 kg” is the recorded pack size, not a recommended dose. Actual dosing follows the current product label and washing-machine manual.

Read the garment care label first. The FTC Care Labeling Rule shows why routine care instructions are material product information; it is US regulatory context, not a substitute for Chinese or target-market requirements. Flame-resistant, moisture-wicking, towel and specially coated fabrics need an extra check on whether softener is allowed.

Then check the washer. Whirlpool advises using the dedicated dispenser and avoiding direct pouring onto clothes. LG likewise directs users to the correct compartment and model- and format-specific limits. Top-load, front-load, auto-dose and machines without a dedicated compartment may differ; one model’s method is not universal.

Dose should not be inferred from bottle size or fragrance strength. Read the product label, then check the compartment marks and MAX line. If the model requires dilution or an auto-dose concentration setting, follow its manual. Do not add more simply to seek a stronger sensation, and do not confuse detergent, softener and bleach compartments.

Evaluation also needs conditions. ASTM D5237 is a guide for evaluating fabric softeners and shows that evaluation uses specified conditions. One wash, one fabric or one fragrance preference cannot represent all materials and environments.
