[Archive date: 15 August 2019] Issue 384 of the China Cleaning Industry Association’s Industrial Bulletin records that the association and the Liangshan Prefecture Bureau of Economy and Information Technology conducted targeted poverty-alleviation support for Zhengxi Village, Haitang Town, Ganluo County, and held a donation event on 15 August 2019. A bureau representative chaired the activity, and representatives of the association and participating companies completed the on-site donation with village representatives.

The same original record itemises that Tangshan Yipinjing Daily Chemical Factory voluntarily donated underwear soap and children’s hand wash: 20 boxes with a recorded value of RMB 7,123, for residents of Zhengxi Village. This article uses only the product categories, box count, recorded value, recipient and date directly supported by that issue. It does not rewrite the value of goods as a cash donation or infer an unrecorded number of beneficiaries or outcome.

The activity was not organised by one company alone. The association record also names Unilever, Walch and Yipinjing among the companies in the first round. Its 2020 work review again places the activity among three poverty-alleviation donation rounds completed in 2019. Identifying the organiser, participating companies and recipient is closer to the record than turning a collective activity into a single-brand narrative.

Regional context must remain separate from proof of the donation. A 2019 Ministry of Education report describes the broader poverty-alleviation context in Ganluo County, while a 2020 People’s Daily Online Sichuan report records Haitang Town’s 2019 poverty-alleviation and paired-assistance work. These sources show that local assistance was continuous and collaborative, but they do not independently prove the quantity or value of Yipinjing’s donation. Those two hard facts remain anchored to the association’s original 2019 record.

Within EPHYON’s brand-information network, this archive connects more than “what was donated”. It also shows how a company selected products related to everyday cleaning and personal hygiene for a joint industry action. We do not infer product efficacy, long-term programme outcomes or current on-sale status from the record. Historical product names are retained only as recorded and should not be treated as a 2026 new-product or shopping list.

EPHYON’s existing social-responsibility page provides the company’s own entry point for responsibility information, while this archive anchors the core facts to the association’s original activity record. A first-party entry point cannot replace independent evidence; each responsibility claim should return to the contemporary activity record, recipient or competent-authority material.

The value of historical responsibility content lies in verifiability and cumulative documentation. If event photographs, dispatch records, goods lists or recipient confirmations are added later, the original 2019 date should remain and each new item should identify its source. A later CSR action should receive a separate archive based on its true date rather than repackaging this event as “recent news”.
