Yipinjing 100g cabinet deodorizer is a gel product. Start with its opening steps and replacement guidance, and arrange cabinet tidying, cleaning and moisture checks separately. A deodorizing box does not replace these everyday tasks.

The label instructs users to open the outer lid, remove the pad and put the lid back for use. It also says the gel gradually diminishes during use and asks users to replace the product after 2–3 months. This is replacement guidance, not a promise of an identical air-purification duration in every space.

Follow the product directions for placement and storage: do not eat it, keep it away from children and pets, and store in a cool, dry, shaded and ventilated place. When checking the remaining gel and replacement timing, also look for standing water or areas needing cleaning around the box.

When a cabinet smells, first look for the source. The US Environmental Protection Agency lists eliminating pollution sources or reducing their emissions as a basic indoor-air strategy. Check stored items and cleanliness before adding a deodorizer. Leaks or persistent dampness call for action on the cause, not merely a change in how the space smells.

Clean cabinets according to their material. IKEA recommends a slightly damp cloth with mild detergent for its kitchen cabinets, followed by a dry microfibre cloth to help prevent moisture entering the surface. Other brands and materials need their own approved tools and methods; do not leave cabinet surfaces persistently wet.

Moisture and ventilation are separate tasks. The EPA’s mould-prevention course emphasises controlling moisture, fixing leaks and drying wet areas. Health Canada likewise recommends reducing pollution sources and improving ventilation when outdoor conditions allow. Use the deodorizer as instructed; it does not replace leak repairs, moisture management or room ventilation.
