What to prepare

  • Daily-chemical category, target market and confirmed specification
  • Formula, packaging and production-readiness review
  • Reference MOQ by pack size, with production planning confirmed after project review

OEM SERVICE FLOW

Seven clear steps,
from requirement to delivery.

Each stage has a defined confirmation point so quotation, sampling, production and delivery do not blur into one conversation.

  1. 01

    Requirement review

Share the product, specification, quantity, market and delivery requirement. A mutual NDA can be signed before formula or commercial details are exchanged.

  2. 02

    Solution and quotation

EPHYON prepares a production plan, itemised quotation, expected scheduling window and delivery estimate. For qualifying custom orders, the deposit may be as low as 30%, subject to project review and contract.

  3. 03

    Sample confirmation

A physical sample is the primary confirmation reference; photographs and production video can supplement it. Standard samples are normally prepared in 3–5 working days, while new or complex formulas require a separate development schedule.

  4. 04

    Batch production

Production begins after the sealed sample, packaging files, materials and schedule are confirmed. The team follows controlled process parameters and keeps the relevant batch records.

  5. 05

    Quality inspection

Incoming materials, critical processes and finished batches are inspected under the applicable quality plan. Supported lines can provide secure remote production viewing. Only accepted batches proceed to shipment.

  6. 06

    Logistics and delivery

EXW, FOB and, where the destination and quotation allow, DAP or DDP can be discussed. Responsibilities for freight, customs clearance, duties and final delivery are confirmed in the quotation and contract.

  7. 07

    After-sales follow-up

Delivery is followed by document support, technical response and issue review under the agreed quality and after-sales terms.

Daily chemical OEM and private-label FAQs

Which contract-manufacturing models do you support, and how do OEM and ODM differ?

OEM is intended for customers with an established formula, specification or product plan; EPHYON reviews production fit and undertakes filling, packing and delivery. ODM starts from EPHYON’s mature formulas or a new development brief and can include formula, fragrance, pH, viscosity, format, sampling and packaging support. Both models are available for household, commercial and selected industrial cleaning products in liquid, powder, paste and gel formats.

What is the minimum order quantity for OEM production?

The standard reference MOQ is 20,000 units for products up to 3 kg and 10,000 units for products above 3 kg. Some mature formulas with standard packaging may qualify for a trial order of up to 3,000 units after a production review. The confirmed MOQ depends on formula, pack size, packaging and line compatibility.

Can I supply my own packaging, or can the factory source it?

Both are possible. Customer-supplied bottles, labels and cartons must be compatible with the relevant production line. EPHYON can also coordinate suitable packaging resources to connect formula, packaging and production in one project.

What trademark documents are required for private-label production?

A valid trademark registration certificate or accepted trademark application notice is required before private-label production, together with the relevant filing information. The commissioning brand owner remains responsible for trademark ownership and infringement risk.

How long does production take after the order is confirmed?

For a conventional order, the reference production period is 10–15 working days after the sealed sample, packaging artwork, material readiness and agreed payment conditions are confirmed. Large-volume or special projects are scheduled separately. Urgent production is subject to line availability and a confirmed quotation.

Is a sealed sample required before production, and how are batch differences handled?

Yes. Both parties confirm and retain a sealed sample as the agreed reference. If a batch appears outside the tolerances defined by the contract, applicable standards or confirmed specification, EPHYON compares retained samples and production records and handles the matter under the agreed quality and after-sales terms.

Which production qualifications and supporting documents can be provided?

The factories hold qualifications applicable to the relevant product categories and operate an ISO 9001 quality management system. Depending on the product and project, EPHYON can provide applicable business and production documents, third-party reports, SDS or MSDS files and transport-classification documents. Final platform or retail acceptance remains subject to the specific product and reviewer requirements.

Can you support third-party testing and export documentation?

Yes. EPHYON can coordinate third-party testing and prepare applicable factory and customs-supporting documents. Where required by the order, reports can be arranged through laboratories accredited by CNAS and participating in ILAC mutual-recognition arrangements. Destination-market compliance and customs decisions remain subject to local regulations, the importer and the competent authorities.

Which partners should begin with brand building before manufacturing?

Brand building is suitable for partners creating a new brand, reorganising an existing product system, or planning a long-term range for a defined territory or channel. Clarifying the brand direction first helps the later formula, packaging and production decisions support the same market goal.

Does brand building mean packaging design only?

No. Packaging is one expression of the brand. Brand building can also clarify the target audience, positioning, product architecture, pricing and channel strategy, then connect content, manufacturing and the launch schedule into one coherent system.
