China’s standards platform records GB/T 25115.2-2026 as issued on 28 August 2026, effective 1 February 2028, replacing GB 25115.2-2010. It is an industrial laundry machinery safety standard, not a detergent performance standard; equipment safety and detergent fit need separate evidence chains.

ISO 10472-1 addresses industrial laundry machinery in professional settings such as hotels, hospitals and institutional laundries. Jurisdictions and machine models are not interchangeable. Capacity, loading, door interlocks, operation, maintenance and abnormal handling belong to the equipment system; a detergent name or dose cannot prove machine safety.

Maintenance needs separate control. US OSHA laundry guidance treats unexpected start-up, stored energy and servicing as lockout/tagout matters requiring shutdown, isolation, release and verification. This US occupational-safety context is not a Chinese operating procedure; the machine maker, user and local rules must define the project method.

A detergent supplier should not promise equipment safety. It can document equipment type and model, rated load, dosing method, water and temperature, textiles, program stage, automatic dosing interface, maintenance owner and response after abnormal shutdown. Changes in formula, dose or program need a named revalidation owner.

EPHYON’s public OEM process covers requirement discussion, sample confirmation, packaging support, production, quality inspection and delivery. Adding machine conditions helps define the water temperature, load, program and dosing method used to evaluate a sample. The page does not show that EPHYON makes laundry machinery or that any cleaner fits every hotel, hospital or industrial machine.

Cross-border projects must not collapse jurisdictions. The main provisions of EU Regulation 2023/1230 apply from 20 January 2027, while the Chinese standard takes effect on 1 February 2028. Market, equipment location, responsible party and contract milestone must be assessed separately.

A public CCIA record independently confirms that Tangshan Yipinjing Daily Chemicals Factory received a 2017 industry OEM/ODM supplier distinction. It supports historical industry identity, not equipment certification, detergent performance or third-party validation of a customer project.

The standards change suggests one practical action: place equipment specifications, programs, chemicals, packaging and metering, test conditions, maintenance isolation and version ownership on one interface sheet while preserving each evidence boundary. This is standards commentary, not equipment-safety, occupational-health or legal advice.
