EPHYON 200g Kitchen Degreasing Paste is a paste-format kitchen cleaner for common surfaces such as range-hood exteriors, tiled walls and stovetops. Its non-drip texture helps keep the product on the areas where grease is concentrated.
Before starting to clean, first turn off the power to the stove and range hood, and wait for the surfaces to cool completely. Remove pots and detachable accessories, and first use a paper towel or cleaning cloth to remove loose grease and food residues. This allows you to clearly see the areas that actually need attention and also reduces rubbing the particles back and forth.
For vertical tiled walls or a range-hood exterior, work in small sections instead of covering a large area at once. Follow the product label for contact time and wiping instructions; leaving the paste on longer does not automatically produce a better result.
A stove is not a material. Glass, enamel, stainless steel, coated panels, cast iron supports, and plastic controls have different wear and chemical resistance. Test new surfaces in a small, inconspicuous area first, and only continue if there is no dulling, discoloration, or scratching.
Bosch and Whirlpool's stove care guides prioritize controlling the flame, cooling, and selecting tools by component. Areas near the burners, burner caps, and igniters also involve gas ports and electrical components, and cleaning paste should not clog the gaps; removable parts should be completely dry after cleaning before reassembling according to the instructions.
Treat the range-hood exterior, filters, grease tray and control panel as separate components. Samsung likewise notes that different parts require different care, and some surfaces restrict abrasive cleaners. Use the paste for targeted grease removal on a suitable hood exterior; if the model requires a soft cloth, neutral liquid or dedicated product, follow the appliance manual.
When wiping, choose a soft cloth, sponge, or tool that matches the material, and do not use steel wool to scrub surfaces forcefully when their durability is uncertain. After finishing, wipe off any remaining cleaning paste and loosened grease; for areas that require rinsing with clean water, follow the instructions on the packaging and the equipment manual, and keep the surface dry.
Do not mix kitchen cleaners with each other. When other products have been used before, first clean the surface according to their instructions, ensure ventilation, and then proceed to the next step. Wash your hands after use, wipe the nozzle and cap clean and close them, keep the original packaging, and store it out of reach of children and pets.
The advantage of this paste is that it concentrates the treatment of grease in specific areas: first cool down and cut off the power, then identify the material, treat small sections, wipe off residues, and dry thoroughly. When dealing with special coatings, glass panels, or complex kitchen appliances, taking a closer look at the device instructions is more reliable than increasing the amount used or extending the dwell time.
