A full laundry basket does not mean every garment has to go into the machine together. EPHYON Watering Can Laundry Detergent is a liquid laundry product in a 2.0 kg watering-can-shaped container with a handle. Sorting clothes, checking their care requirements and then choosing the dose and programme gives a more orderly routine than simply adding extra detergent.
First check the care label at the collar, side seam or waistband. Washing, bleaching, tumble drying, natural drying and ironing each have different symbols. The temperature inside the wash tub is the maximum permitted washing temperature; bars beneath it indicate how gentle the process should be. If the label says not to wash, use the specified care method. Washable garments do not necessarily all suit the same programme.
Separate clothes that may lose colour. Light and dark items, and lightweight and heavier fabrics, can be grouped according to colour, material, soil level and care requirements. The detergent’s back label also advises washing readily fading clothes separately. New dark garments, items prone to snagging and heavy towels do not need to share one load merely to fill the drum.
Use an appropriate amount according to the load, soil level and packaging directions; more foam is not a measure of cleaner clothes. Where the machine has a dedicated detergent inlet, follow its instructions. Without a dedicated inlet, dilute before adding so concentrated liquid does not remain on one spot for a long time. For hand washing, mix the detergent evenly with water first, then wash according to garment-care instructions.
If you have not checked the dose, do not add another large amount by guesswork. This detergent’s directions explicitly warn against overuse. If too much detergent has been added, do not try to fix it by adding other cleaners: rinse according to the appliance and garment requirements, and check the packaging again before the next dose. Different sizes and types of laundry products should not share an unchecked dosing habit.
After washing, return to the care label for drying. Some garments can be tumble dried, while others need hanging or flat drying. Permission to wash does not automatically mean high-temperature tumble drying is suitable. Connecting sorting, dosing and drying makes everyday garment care more than a choice of detergent: it is also a matter of treating different clothes appropriately.
The watering-can shape makes this product recognizable, but it should still be stored as a household detergent: close it after use, keep it in its original packaging, and store it away from children, pets, food and drinks. Laundry detergent must not be swallowed or casually mixed with other household chemicals. For size and purchasing information, visit EPHYON’s Watering Can Laundry Detergent product page.
